What time do the gates open?
Car Parks open at 8.30am and the main show entrance opens at 9AM.
Is there any local transport to the show field?
Bluestar Busses provide an intermediate service within walking distance of the show ground, stopping by Goodies Fish and Chip Shop.The No. 11 bus starts at Southampton West Quay and passes through Southampton Train Station providing services every hour throughout show days. The nearest train station is in Totton.
Can you sleep in your cars overnight?
No, there is a public campsite available for over night stays. Please see camping Tab for further details.
Is the ground uneven?
The show field is farmland so suitable footwear is advised.
What time do the car parks close?
The Car Parks shut at midnight.
Are dogs allowed on the show field?
Yes but as long as they are on a lead and kept under control and the dog owners clear up after their dogs. Water points are dotted around the show site so your pets can have a drink.
From what time does the evening rate apply?
The evening rate is effective from 6pm.
At what age do the OAP rates apply?
Women 60 and over, Men 65 and over.
Do Carers get in free or get a concession rate?
Does public camping include admission?
What facilities are available on the show field?
We have water, toilets, Elsan tip. We also have 24-hour emergency medical cover, Fire cover and Security. There is a local Morrisons a short drive from the show ground.
Are disabled buggies available?
Are there any banking facilities at the show?
NO, the nearest ATM is located at Morrisons a short drive away.
Are credit card facilities available at the entrance gates for "On the Day" admission payments?
Is the funfair included in the Admission price?
NO, The funfair isn't included, Rides will be an extra fee.
How can I work at NMSCS?
All our committee and helpers are unpaid volunteers and dedicate their time free to put on the show, if you are interested in getting involved please contact us via the contacts page.
I’m trying to enter my exhibit but cant get in?
We would love to be able to have every person that enquires but unfortunately space and finances say otherwise! we try our best but sometimes that means waiting a year or two. We recommend when you enquire to send as much detail about the exhibit and a recent photograph for us to keep on file for future years.
